Language, Style and Formatting
Manuscripts must be written in clear, standard English. Authors may use either British or American spelling, but should be consistent throughout the manuscript. TPHJ encourages concise, precise language and avoidance of unnecessary jargon. Abbreviations should be defined in full at first use in the abstract and again in the main text, and used sparingly thereafter.
The main manuscript should generally be prepared in Microsoft Word format, using a readable font such as Times New Roman, 12-point size, with double line spacing and generous margins. Pages should be numbered consecutively. Line numbering is encouraged to facilitate peer review. The main document for review should not contain any information that could identify the authors or their institutions, in order to preserve double-blind review; such information belongs on a separate title page file.
